Worship Leader - GT Reading
  
 
  
    As a worship leader at GT Church, you are tasked with creating an atmosphere of Christ-centered, heartfelt worship that connects to people’s daily lives. You will work with the Campus Pastor and Worship Pastor to build a worship culture filled with musicians and vocalists who are enthusiastic about leading people into the presence of God. In addition to leading/planning Sunday morning services at the GT Reading location, this part-time role (15-20 hours per week) will also serve in a central support capacity by assisting in worship and rostering teams for church-wide events as requested by the Worship Pastor. 
  
 
  
    
      
        
          
        
      
      
    
      
      
        
          
        
      
    
    
      
      
        
          - Provide an encouraging, authentic worship experience at the GT Reading location
 
        
          - Serve as an upbeat, dynamic leader for worship team volunteers
 
        
          - Roster musicians and vocalists; schedule set lists
 
        
          - Lead Sunday rehearsal & huddle
 
        
          - Assist in auditioning musicians and vocalists
 
        
          - Actively recruit new volunteers and equip current volunteers to develop their gifts
 
        
          - Collaborate with the Worship Pastor and the Campus Pastor to ensure congruence in Sunday morning services across locations
 
        
          - Collaborate with the Worship Pastor on song selection, transitions, special openings/closings
 
        
          - Assist in leading worship for central events and mid-week activities as requested (for example: staff meetings, family min events, outreach events, weddings/funerals, special services, etc)
 
        
          - 1x Weekly Worship Leader meeting
 
        
          - 1x Weekly Service Planning meeting (schedule permitting)
 
        
          - 1x Monthly (Sunday) Campus team meeting
 
        
      
    
    
      Qualifications
      
          
            - Experienced musician and vocalist; a dynamic team builder with the ability to lead, coach, and recruit others
 
          
            - Organizational and administrative skills
 
          
            - A passion and call to worship ministry 
 
          
            - Great verbal and written communication skills
 
          
            - Solid work ethic and ability to self-motivate, effectively prioritize, and multi-task
 
          
            - Ability to play multiple instruments is a plus
 
          
            - Proficiency with Multi Tracks in playback, Planning Center, or similar software is a plus
 
          
            - Supports the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God
 
          
            - Requires weekly Sunday morning hours in addition to covering special services or other church-wide events as requested.
