The role of Facilities Director is responsible for overseeing and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming facility. You will manage facility use, oversee building repairs and preventative maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and coordinate inspections and contracts.           - Provide oversight to facility improvement and construction projects
 
        
          - Lead and provide direction to the Facilities Team
 
        
          - Liaise with contractors and provide oversight to any new multi-site location renovations or new buildings 
 
        
          - Perform general repairs to the West Lawn campus facility and multi-site locations as needed
 
        
          - Consult with multi-site campus staff to ensure that all campus facilities are properly maintained and operational
 
        
          - Recruit, develop, assist, and provide oversight to Facilities Volunteers
 
        
          - Coordinate inspections and compliance ordinances
 
        
          - Develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules
 
        
          - Manage vendors and vendor relations
 
        
          - Manage and give oversight to event scheduling and facility usage
 
        
          - Utilize online facility management system
 
        
          - Prepare and manage facility budgets
 
        
      
    
    
      Qualifications
      
          
            - Knowledge of building trades (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical)
 
          
            - Strong time-management skills; a self-motivator
 
          
            - Positive, teachable spirit
 
          
            - Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
 
          
            - Experience in volunteer recruitment or team building
 
          
            - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
 
          
            - Knowledge of project management or facility management software a plus
 
          
            - Ability to operate fork lift, single man lift, tractor, and mower 
 
          
            - Must possess motor coordination skills such as: ability to stand, bend, stoop, grasp, climb a ladder and walk for an extended period of time 
 
          
            - Ability to lift 50 pounds over your head
 
          
            - Availability for weekend, evening, or holiday hours based on ministry demand
